Pamoja Keepsakes

Client Work

Illustrated design for small businesses and nonprofits.

Why use illustration + Graphic Design?

Representation Matters

The picture above was sent to me from the Tiny Theatre Company after the flyer design (in the lower right) was finished. Is life imitating art, or art imitating life? Representative artwork is central to why I do what I do.

I've been doing digital illustration (drawing on an iPad) since 2014. Digital Illustration offers a more creative interpretation for portraits than traditional photography. I noticed in more recent years companies opting to rebrand using  illustration, and animation.  Perhaps because, in a post- 2020 climate  it requires less people and budgets. One thing I have found through illustrating people, their teams, and products is that its empowering for both myself and the client.

The #1 compliment I can receive is that my work makes someone else feel seen.
