Elle's Elixirs is a unique CBD and tea brand that came to us as with an established brand logo, but needed to improve upon label design and needed more label design for new products. Since their product's use is able to "smoke, soak, or sip" it is vitally important that customers have clear instructions on how to utilize the products for the best user experience. They also wanted to get into a subscription box model for their sales and needed an improved box designed to include their products and accessories which were getting damaged during customer delivery. The box included a honey stick and many customers did not know what it was and this created confusion and waste for the end user.
In the end, we were able to elevate their branding and provide clarity for product use, brand recognition, and a truly cohesive set of line up of package design for their business. Beyond solving the design problems for product packaging and use, we also created items like a retractable banner and magnets which were produced as pins, magnets, and stickers, further driving excitement and clarity for the brand.
Elle's Elixir offers unique rose cones to enjoy smoking their product with. There were two types so labels were created to distinguish between those tow products. The instruction card was a two sided custom illustrated 5x7inch full color asset that is included with the purchase of the product.
We measured the products and designed a custom box that would avoid damage during shipping. The honey label design (round sticker attached to honey stick) created a better customer experience by identifying it better in the set. These were getting thrown out or reported missing previously.
We illustrated their product being used in all three methods to demonstrate its versatility. From these images the client used print on demand vendors to produce stickers, magnets, acrylic pins as merch for customers.
Since much of Elle's Elixir's sales channels happen online and at pop up markets, we created a retractable banner to bring some life to her booth setup and allows a lovely vertical backdrop for her to engage with her customers and take photos.
As product design and use became clear it really aided in establishing the brand overall. Cohesive use of their brand guide across each application has allowed Elle's Elixirs to be an even more memorable product on the very saturated market of hemp derived products.
Elle's Elixirs, equipped with great packaging for their product lines have been featured in Memphis' City Box Collection. The city boxes were featured in Forbes.com, NBA.com, and in local stories in Memphis news, and sold in local smoke shops through strategic partnerships. The bath soak product went international and is also available for sale on shelves in South Africa.
