Curated Designs that Inform and Build Connection
Since 2014, I’ve been creating digital illustrations—drawing primarily on an iPad to capture people, teams, and products in a more expressive, imaginative way than traditional photography allows. I began working with nonprofit organizations in 2018, offering visuals that help communicate identity and mission through custom artwork.
What I’ve discovered is that illustration does more than just enhance visual appeal—it empowers. My clients often tell me that the artwork makes them feel seen, and to me, that’s the highest compliment I can receive. For nonprofits, custom illustrations become more than graphics—they become a meaningful way to express who they are and what they stand for, in a way that’s both memorable and deeply human. We understand the importance of sharing your work with your stakeholders and potential donors when staffing is limited. As changes in the economy and uncertainties around grants require a new way forward, it is more important than ever that nonprofits are able to tell their story in a concise and impactful way. Through storytelling, infographics, and representative illustration we have a solution to ensure that your next annual report will have the compelling content needed to add to your organization's tool box for your audience to access at anytime..
New data suggests retention among first-time donors is especially weak, with only roughly 23% of new online donors giving a second gift Fundraise Up+1 .That said, once a donor gives more than once, repeat donor retention rates jump considerably — some analyses suggest that recurring donors (monthly or multi-gift) are far more likely to stick with a nonprofit long-term. Assuming donors can give monthly isn't too far fetched either. Most Americans have 17 subscriptions in their current budget, why not assume your organization could be number 18? Through clear communication, storytelling, and relational efforts throughout the year your organization can build a more predictable budget. One way to encourage that collaboration is to find small ways to update and inform them throughout the year. Use this Toolkit for some design inspiration that drives reoccurring impact.
